Into the wild world of dr rhys jones

Here are some facts we learned along the way. Getting increasingly popular as a pet is the Chilean Rose Tarantula. Take special care when handling your pet. They aren't deadly, but they are venomous. There is no record of human death due to tarantula bites. People bitten by tarantulas usually react the same way they would to a bee sting.

Along with bonobos, chimpanzees are our closest living relatives. We share approximately 98% of our DNA with chimps, so it’s fair to say that we are 98% chimpanzee, and chimps are 98% human.

One way to tell a male frog from a female frog is by looking at its ears. The ears can be found right behind the frog’s eyes. If the ears are as big as the eyes, then the frog is a boy. If the ears are smaller than the frog’s eyes, then the frog is a girl. Also, if the frog askes you where you've been and points out it's nearly midnight, it's a girl frog.

PHILL'S TECHNICAL BACKGROUND TIP: All images on this page/project were shot on my Canon 1DX using a Canon 28-300 lens. The media is a fast 64GB Sandisk card. This same kit is used for our video shooting.
